Desperately trying to find info on my GreatGrandads family-----his name--Harry Bird b,1860 Bridgewater somerset

From his obituary his father is down as George Bird who was a Policeman in the Gloucester Police between 1860-1915

My GreatGrandfathers Mother is a Mrs C.m. Hooper of Gloucester c, 1915

Harry Bird married Eliza Pheobe Hiam at st, Pauls Church Gloucester between 1895 + 1900

I cannot find anything on his family other than what is here and cannot find his birth cert on 1837.com either

Any help on anything please

Hi Nigel
What do you think of this from the 1881 census? No George there that day though. Did look for a policeman of that name without success. Leave you to decide. Regards, Frances
