Oswald Dannies Cottell was co-owner of a vinegar works White, Cottell & Co which seems to have been located at various times in Long Lane, West Bermondsey and Lowth Road, Camberwell, both in London.
Worthington Hall Cottell & Herbert Vincent Cottell were put into the merchant navy by their family. Both eventually settled in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Worthington gave his middle name as Halle rather than Hall. Herbert Vincent worked for the Adelaide Steamship Company.
