In memory of William, beloved son of James and Ann Price of Grahamsley, who died September/6/1905 aged 19 years.

In loving memory of William , beloved husband of Grace Price of Bowden Close, who died July/30/1928 aged 54 years.
Also the above Grace Price, who died February/2/1936 aged 59 years.

could you possible post the Armstrong and Philipson details for Crook. Since they are common names I know most will not be my ancestors but I'm still hoping to track down my missing relatives, sadly I can only get up to Weardale about once a year so its a slow process.

Hello Mim. Here are the Davison, Maddison and Siddle inscriptions:-

In affectionate remembrance of George Davison of West Rainton?, who died ??/October/1872 aged 76 years.
Also Isabell, his wife, who died April/15/1869? aged 77? years and was interred at Bishop Wearmouth ( you will notice by the ? marks this was not a very good stone to read)

In memory of George and Isabell Davison, father and Mother in law of William Nelson. (no dates or ages)
The other side of the stone reads:-
In memory of William Nelson, who departed this life 12/september/1884 aged 57 years.

In memory of John Maddison, who died 19/July/1925 aged 72 years.
And of his wife Sarah, who died 6/February/1935 aged 72 years.

In loving memory of Mary Ann, beloved wife of Robert Siddle of Crook, who died May/29/1925 aged 51 years.

In loving memory of George Siddle, beloved husband of Mary Jane Siddle of Cold Knott, who was accidentally killed at Woodyfield Colliery March/25/1899 aged 38 years.
Also his son Robert, who was killed in France July/17/1917
Also Thomas Siddle, beloved son of the above George and Mary Jane Siddle of 5 Norman street? (rest unable to read)

Thomas Hall Hindmarch, died October/15/1896 aged 25 years.
Mary Elizabeth, daughter of the above, died October/18/1883? aged 10 months.
Mary Hindmarch, died November?/20/1891. This stone was broken and laid flat and was not in very good condition.

In affectionate remembrance of Joseph, the beloved son of William and Mary Hindmarch of Billy Hill who met his death on the West Durham railway, July/9/1873 aged 15 years.
William, son of the above who died April/5/1864 aged 1 year and 5 months
Also the above named William Hindmarch, who died september/11/1875 aged 69 years.

In loving memory of James Edward, beloved husband of Mary Hindmarch of 6 Tennyson Terr, Crook, who died May/12/1925 aged 53 years.
Also the above Mary Hindmarch, who died 11/November/1927 aged 58 years.

Treasured memories of our dear parents, Mary Hindmarch, died 3/October/1911 aged 43 years.
John Kasher Hindmarch, died 9/October/1934 aged 62 years.

In loving memory of Dorothy, beloved wife of John Foster of Albert street, Crook, who died July/16/1911 aged 40 years.

In loving memory of Florence, dearly beloved daughter of John and the late Dorothy Foster of Low Albert st, Crook, who died December/10/1918 aged 21 years

In loving memory of Sarah Annie, the beloved wife of Thomas Foster, of 7 West Terr, Billy Row, who died March/3/1931 aged 55 years..

In loving memory of Frances, beloved wife of Robert Foster, who died September/14/1951 aged 72 years.
Also the above Robert Foster, who died July/27/     aged 79 years
