Marriage

Jan/Feb/mar 1935
Buckingham reg district
ref 3a 1882

William Kingston
Blanche M Clarke

Sorted!

Getting marriage cert will give her father's name and occupation, and her age at marriage.

Birth cert that Tati found can then be bought (if age ties up) which will give both parents - if father's name and occupation tie up, then you have found her! (mums maiden name Street, plus found some siblings, see details earlier)
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

What makes you say she didn't sign (and conclude it was her own mother who signed!!) after saying this

Hi All

Sam has sent me the cert ,and it is indeed what we had suspected.
Mothers name is Mary Blanche Clarke but she signs B Clarke(maybe she never used the Mary bit?) and again as thought ,no fathers name on the cert.

I am hoping to attach a section of it here,so we can all see what a flamboyant writer the registrar was and how he finishes each word off with a flourish that makes it look like it ends with a letter r  ::)

Blanche(r) CLarke(r) and even Quadrant(r)  ;D ;D ;D

Well done Liz,so Sam is really motoring now,if you get that marriage cert Sam,we'll be able to help you find all about Mary Blanche CLARKE.

Carol

I see a second possible birth registration for Blanche - probably more likely, now we know she married in Buckingham. Also, it was registered in the December quarter 1911 (covering Oct, Nov, Dec), which may be more likely than the September quarter for a 27th Sep birth:

Blanche M Clarke
Dec 1911
Mother's Maiden Name Clarke
Buckingham 3a 1862
