Alfred John WATSON

One of my ancestors was Bertie Francis Watson (1927- 1973) and all I know was his father was Alfred John Watson and mother was Lillian Jeanette Swell.They were in NSW .
Can anyone find out any more please

I start all my NSW research at BDM but this is a tricky bunch to find.
I am pretty sure it was Swell not Sewell so how can I go back further than this??

Do you have any certificates with the name SWELL or perhaps you could let us know your source of info...  Not one birth with the surname SWELL on NSW indexes.   If you wish to follow up on parents of Alfred J and Lillian J...I would suggest you purchase a transcription of their marriage reg.

Interesting that there are three marriages for an Alfred J WATSON...the one to Lillian Jeanette SEWELL and then a second one in 1935 to a Lillian E HAYWARD [who incidentally  died at Penrith also] and what may be Alfred Jnr's marriage in 1946.  There is a death of a Lillian J WATSON in 1932...with parents Richard and Louisa and I can see a Richard and Louisa SEWELL marriage and a number of births around the period......so more to think about and perhaps purchase some transcriptions.

THANKS CANDO,
I have found a bit more on him as I was contacted by a man writing the Sewell history...so even though the certificate said Swell ..it was really Sewell so now we can track the family. Thanks for your help.
