Robert Wann bn 1802 Rothley

Robert Wann bn 1802 bn at Rothley was married at Thornyburn about 1831 to a woman call Isabella.   In 1832 their son George  Wann was bn in Thorneyburn and the family moved to Gatehead .   I would appreciate any help in tracing the marriage.

Have you tried searching  http://search.labs.familysearch.org  (Record Search)  They have PR's for Thorneyburn in the Vital Records, Diocese of Durham

I looked in my index of marriages for Northumberland and Durham 1813-1837 but no Robert Wann marriages in either.

Hello John,

The BTs for Thorneyburn show that Robert Wann of the parish of Hartburn married Isabella Robson 'of this parish' on 15 Dec 1831. Witnesses were John Foster and Thomas Robson.

Gee and I looked for a Warn as a derivation--never thought of Warner!!
