Natrass
« on: Tuesday 29 July 08 20:44 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know anything about Christopher Natrass who lived in Osmotherly North Yorks. He was born about 1836 and believe he married Ann Bell in 1877.
Would appreciate any help with census information about him and his family.

Thanks

You could check out the marriage date and place in freebmd search.

You are firtunate in that the surname  seems uncommon altho there maybe a nest of them around where he was.

Freebmd is worth a check.

I think that I may have found him in 1861

Black Farm Osmotherley

Christopher is living with a William Boville and his family.  William is a bleacher and farmer employing 1 man and 2 girls.

If you would like the source citation numbers let me know.

I will continue to check the other census years for him and post them for you.

Hi delcom,

Welcome to RootsChat .. !  :)

If you would like the source citation numbers let me know.

I find it always helps to add the reference, folio and page numbers .. and then if there is a name variation on the transcription it enables an easier search for the person who has posted.

Kind regards,

Pels.
