Lydia Peer married Robert Cowan in 1861 in Whitchurch, ON.

Lydia was the daughter of Stephen and Ann (Forster) Peer. Ann was a sister to my gr gr gr grandfather, Matthew Forster.

Hi Janice and thank you for the links and info.  I have since been able to figure out how Lizzie Glover is connected to my family and a few others.  Some appear just to have been friends. 

Frank Judd is still a bit of a mystery as none you or I have found seem to have lived near any places where the relatives were.  That doesn't mean it isn't one of these Franks but certainly doesn't make it easier to pinpoint the one I'm looking for.

Peter the Pirate - I don't think there is a connection to your Robert Cowan as I have the Cannington family pretty much accounted for and the name Robert hasn't appeared at all in that or the Halton family.  I'll keep my eyes open though, in case I discover something new.

Hi Karen;  That is interesting though maybe no connection whatsoever but I have a 'relative' in my family tree by the name of Charles Stockton & he married Fanny Judd.  He was born in Oxford Co., ON but moved to NY (among other places) but his wife's family I discovered were in Canton, NY & that is where she & her daughter & son remained.  I have no idea if Canton is anywhere close to your place.  I learned all of the info. mainly from a picture.  This would be quite a coincidence but I have seen some before.
