Yes: I am not sure how it works.
Any family connection would be interesting and as you say they are an interesting lot, so interesting they are difficult to locate.
I would like to get back to the English Civil War era but that looks like asking too much.
I am not sure how to copy my e-mail address to you but it is in there somewhere.

I only signed up this morning,it took me an hour to open your topic thread! It seems there is a way to send private message,I'll work on it. I would like to have look at my other family names but I can't work out how to open the names in the index but I shall spend a couple of hours looking at it.Problem is I've been out to lunch so after a couple of beers it is not easy!

I will be interested in what ever you have as anything will help to track them down.

I did once find an obscure reference to a christening at St Pauls church Convent Garden but it then vanished and I have not been able to find it since,
There seem to be two medieval era families: one at Nottingham and the other at Radnor.

My dads uncle did a family history before he died and I found it listed in a book shop but when I enquired it had gone.

If anyone reading this has any offers please join in.

Hello
I, too, am a descendant of Frederick Rickards b. 1799 at Winkfield. Have come across possibly 2 of his siblings Henry Rickards b. abt 1796 and Mary Ann Rickards b. abt 1797. I have not come across  the John Rickards mentioned in this link. I would be interested to know more if any one is willing to share research notes.

Hello
My 3x great grandfather was Frederick Rickards born about 1799 at Winkfield. My line of descent is through his son Frederick baptised at Windlesham in 1823. I would be interested in contacting others with similar interests.
regards Rickie

I am new to Rootschat and still trying to find my way round

Hi all,

I am looking for a needle in a haystack.

My GGG Grandfather was Edward Rickards born abt 1799.  I am trying to trace his place of birth and parents.  He died in 1849 bedore the 1851 census so I don't now where he was born.
He was a coachman and in 1829 one of his daughters, Sophia was born in Bagshot.  Frederick Rickards was also in Bagshot at this time and was also a coachmanster.  Does anyone know if there is any connection between the two?  Could they be brothers?

Hello maz591

I think I might be able to help but at the moment I don't have access to my information. I will send you "personal message" with my e-mail and if you answer direct with yours, I can reply with some information when I get home.
