Hi, Alice was my grandmother, she was born 19/02/1904 23 Brunswick Street, Christchurch, London, U.K., and died 17/9/1978, at St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey, U.K.
Her Father was Alfred Isacc Crosby, who was born C1879 at St Andrews, Lambeth, Surry, U.K. and died C1946 at 38 Albert Road, Silvertown London E16 on about 6/May 1949.
In the 1901 census he was shown as a crew member aboard HMS Cambridge, based in Cornwall, U.K. under the name of Fred Crosby.
