Hartung story is a sad one.....   

Johanna HARTUNG aged 13 mths of Adelaide died 21st March 1857 at Adelaide
Father = Wilhelm HARTUNG (F)
Ref = Ade 5/185

Johanna HARTUNG aged 31 of Nain (think that is possibly Nairne) died 27th June 1860 at Nain
Husband  = Wilhelm HARTUNG
Ref = Ade A 9/155


It seems Wilhelm remarried as there are more deaths of babies with him as the father after Johanna died.

I  noticed  when  looking  at  the Metafind data base  State Library of South Australia
there was a Wallmann and Sons funeral directors......does  this tie in  with "your lot"  wondered seeing  the information about cabinet makers and carpenters

Have no idea, Jenn. But I noticed some Queensland Wallmanns on the Queensland BDM website......and there is a reference in the South Australian Archival Database to the following......

"Reminiscences of Nettie Eugenie Wallman of family background and life in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia."
