It would probably be best to verify exactly what records have been checked  rather than to assume that "they have tried any records they could possibly try."
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hopefully Michael her son will post on here directly fairly soon and he will be able to clarify exactly what they've done.

I have been over to Kilmeague cemetery and while there are several headstones with Behan, none have the name of Sarah on them.
I can post the names here, or send them to you by e-mail, if you let me have your address.
Regards,
Jack

Hi, do you mean Allen graveyard as far as I am aware there is not Kilmeague cemetery, all my family are buried in Allen graveyard, which is about a quarter of a mile up the road from kilmeague.

Hi Emily,
I'm not familar with Kildare, but I went to Kilmeague (as I thought) that has a very large church and large cemetery, and includes many Behan headstones.
Coming from Portlaoise, perhaps the place name is wrong.
Would there be any Behan in Allen, or was I in Allen?
Thanks,
Jack

hI seanmac,

you must have been in Allen as there is no Kilmeague graveyard, Allen is just how you describe it with a big church and a large graveyard to one side of it.
