hi Adle
By the way the names Ricky and not Rickee. I dont understand your problem, you complained that you didnt want to see certain boards, which I believe Trystan sorted out for you. Also I didnt criticise you on the other thread, just made a comment that as you dont like the TOT boards, why post on them. If you want to complain about me go ahead, I dont have a problem with that.

my membership type seems to now be inclusive of all boards.

it was specially set up by the Management to eliminate non-Family History stuff.

how can I get it back?

Thank you very much if you can help

Hello adle,

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your query so I sent a short message to the Moderators via the Report to Moderator facility. One of them will probably have
a look and let you know how you can eliminate the non Family History items.

How come you can spell correctly one min, and then not the next, oh and by the way, the names RICKY and not Rickee.Second part of your little tantrum, Silvery didnt abuse you on the other thread, if we all went on here complaining about little things like  words or phrases we didnt like, the mods would be running around in circles.

Hi Adle,

I must agree with Ricky because your spelling on here has in the past been very good,

so why keep swopping and changing it?

This is a very friendly site with lots of helpful people on here and i feel you sometimes post

things that you dont need to. Nobody as far as i can see has upset you, infact i think people

have been very patient with you.

Why did you change your name as it was all set up so you could not access TOT etc?

Maybe if you posted about family history more often you would find out just how helpful

we all are :)

I must apologise on behalf of my great aunt Elvira for any offence caused.

Hardly a tantrum though Ricky1!

She refuses help on the PC, and indeed with this whole family history topic.

Sometimes I dont check if she has used the PC, but logging on as her today I see she has been busy.

Sue, I think the name change was mentioned earlier and it doesnt seem to be relevant to any facilities she was given. Try changing your own. The login stays the same, just whats shown as a name is changed.

She did originally post about family topics, just look at her older posts.

I believe she is correct in that there was sarcasm about her spelling. That post has been edited you will note.

I will have another word.  :)

overall it might be best if she stopped using Rootschat especially as it seems that the tolerance levels for old ladies isnt very high.  :(

Hi Adle

I have the highest regard for any old person, what I couldnt understand and I think a few more people on here couldnt , was one min the person in question could write  good English, and the next time they couldnt. Just seems to me that everytime she logs on, she has a moan about something. We all like doing our family history and some of us do lookups, and other things to help other rootschat users out, and some of us use the TOT board as a bit of light relief. If your auntie carnt be a bit tolerant to what is posted on here, thats not our problem.

Ricky1, I wonder if you realise the irony of your last remark?

She wrote this message asking if anybody could help her understand what had changed.

Frankly, it seems that it's mostly you doing the moaning. Does it really matter if someone expresses what they dont want to see, even if they then seem a little hypocritical about it? She had a rough time in Rhodesia, and sometimes gets very confused.

I'm deleting access so I doubt you will see her again.

Christopher and Pels, thank you for the courtesy you showed.

Best wishes.

Hi Adle
First thing is I aint a moaner. Secondly this is the only time that you have come on here and said about your auntie using your computer, and not being able to spell things properly. Also looking through your postings it seems to be you that log's on here more often than your auntie, going by the spelling ???. Anyway I aint going to get into an argy bargy with you as have other things to do.
