Hello, I am trying to trace Daniel McNeill and Mary Darroch's birth and links to Ireland as well as information on their parents. It is over 9 years since you posted this. My wife's father, Gavin McNeill, was the son of Jock McNeill, a son of William who may have been a brother of great grandfather.
Any clarification on your line would be appreciated very much. Thanks for your consideration.

A copy of daughter Mary's birth entry should give you her mothers maiden name

Although the baptism entry won't give parents marriage details it would be worth downloading from www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk as it should give the name of Sponsors which may be a clue to other family members?
