Hi,
You know that Catherine was born 8 July 1896, with that date could you not apply for her birth cert and that should give you the address were they live. Having found that you can begin searching the the 1901 census.

Seems her birth may have been 8th July 1894 - Good job I delayed. With no credit card or cheques to draw on an Irish bank has anyone actually just sent 10 euros for a birth certifiacte to Roscommon successfully ?

The birth certificate duly arrived but not with the mother's maiden name I was expecting! This and the 1901 census has given me

Story's Buildings Ushers Quay
Watling Street Ushers Quay
Vickers Street

as places she lived
