Help linking two Rainbows
« on: Thursday 17 July 08 16:13 BST (UK) »
Hola
Could someone please help me work out what the link between Caleb Rainbow (b 1823 Yardley Hastings) and William Rainbow (b Northampton but living in Bucks is)?? I just wonder as there do appear to be a lot of similarities between them, such as the names of their children. In 1871 William was living in Lavendon, Bucks and Caleb was living in YH.
Thanks :D

Could they be brothers? When was William born?

I have found Caleb in 1841 (I think) and he has a younger brother called William, source ref: Class: HO107; Piece 813; Book: 21; Civil Parish: Yardley Hastings; County: Northamptonshire; Enumeration District: 2; Folio: 29; Page: 12
HECTOR - Brigstock, Stanion, Higham Ferrers
RIDYARD - Middlesex, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire
FLETTON - Benefield, Higham Ferrers

Ugh why does it always have to be so complicated!
Thanks for looking as well, I suppose I will have to assume as there will never be any definite proof! Sigh... :-\

Its sometimes the way.  But i'm still trying for you.  But i know it may be complicated as a lot of the Rainbows are related to Dunkley's, Rattley's and Underwoods if they come from Yardley Hastings.  Being such a small village there all inter related.
