:) Haven't been here for a while and how nice to see that Royal Artillery badge  ;D

I have a 'sweetheart' badge here by the computer, which belonged to grandmother.

My grandfather was slightly too young (born 1903) for WW1
but I know he was in the army in the early 1920s and again in WW2 ...
they married in 1922, so don't know which war it was from.

I've had pains in my right arm, elbow and shoulder for months now, so have not
been adding to the restores on here ... it's beginning to hurt during the night as well ...

Would an arm rest be the solution ?

Hi Rachel
A cheap arm sling helps to rest it, as does avoiding the "clone" button.  But most of all a nice 2 weeks holiday in the sun is the best medicine!!! Hope you soon get better. I thought I had a long term problem, but suddenly overnight it sorted itself out, so lets hope you are as lucky.
Look forward to seeing you back soon

Hi Rachel,
Have you seen a doctor? As it has been a couple of months now it might be best. I had a similar thing last year and it was a pinched nerve in the neck caused by tilting my head up to see the screen.
Physical therapy was needed to cure it.

Have changed the position of the mouse mat  ::)  ::) feels more comfortable already .... doh !
Why didn't I think of that before  :P I was reaching over to the right (right handed)

Hi Rachel,

I have quite a severe form of rheumatism in my wrists and fingers which was causing a lot of pain.

I bought a vertical mouse which helps a lot, but they are expensive.

Hi Polldoll,

I have a mouse mat with a wrist support on it and it helps to a certain extent. It is also important to have a good chair which you can be adjusted to suit the individual. Also remember to take a break at least every 2 hours.

Moira what is a vertical mouse? I've not heard of it does it stand on it's back legs ;)

I was wondering that Adrian, glad you asked.

Thought probably you have to give it a swig of Vodka and it would stand on it's head..... ;)
