Hello, I am not sure if anyone here can help but I will give it a try.
I am trying to find further details on birth of George William Clark born March 1841 Grantham, Eng.
I have a reference of vol.14  page.394 from freebmd site.

I need to find mothers maiden name and/or fathers name.

I would be grateful if anyone could provide some help. :)

If your Grantham born Clark family originate from Willoughby-on -the Wolds, Notts, please get in touch.  My Grantham Clarks lived and married in Spittlegate, Grantham. Best wishes

Thanks Graham, I am not sure exactly where this Clark originated beyond it being in Grantham about 1841.

All the time I thought I was looking for a George W. Meadows, but it turns out that GW was born as a Clark and took the name of the Stepfather(Henry Meadows) when the mother remarried.

The family moved to Australia in 1848 via Liverpool, so no further records would exist of them in the UK beyond that year.
