Help reading ships name

Can anybody help with reading what I believe to be a ships name?
I can make out "Embarked at the ****** on the 23rd Feb 1851. Invalided".
The soldier in question was my 3rd Gt Grandfather returning to England from Calcutta.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Possibly the name of a place, rather than a ship? I make the last nine letters of the word to read "residency". Perhaps this will have some meaning for other posters.

Not sure of the styling of a sentence regarding embarkation would be crafted at that time, however "embarked on" would seem more likely than "embarked at" if referring to a ship.

I agree with residency

I see he was returning from Calcutta, wasn't residency the term used for the British quarters in Indian towns??

Seems more likely to be Presidency - with the old fashioned "r" that looks like an "n" with a loop as the second letter.

There were three Presidencies - Bengal, Bombay and Madras. Calcutta was in the Bengal presidency
