Hard to read, Anyone help?
« on: Monday 14 July 08 00:15 BST (UK) »
Have recently discovered this branch of my mothers family (Kemp).
William died 28/1/52 in Aberdeen, Eastern District
Petronella in 1990, same district.
Can't find a marriage cert yet
Looking for any info on area of Aberdeen, according to William's death cert from Scotlands People he died in an Ambulance.....and this is where it gets hard to read.......?Lodge Nack/Naek?
                           ?Hokes?, 19 Middlefield
                            ?????????(this bit unclear)

Does any of this make any sense to anyone ?

Thanks

Gordon

If you post the relevant piece of the cert someone may be able to assist in deciphering.

Hi Gordon

Sorry, can't help with how to post an image, but could the "Lodge Naek" be Lodge Walk? This street was the site of Police Headquarters in Aberdeen - would this fit with any of the info you have on William or his cause of death?

Hi Gordon,

Here's a link to "how to add images..." http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,130922.0.html

Because of copyright, you would need to crop the image so that you just show us the bit that you want us to read. Instructions on how to do this are in the above link as well.

My immediate thought was Lodge Walk as well  :) I'm intrigued now..there is a Middlefield Place and Middlefield Terrace in Aberdeen but they are a fair distance from Lodge Walk.

I think that you should get the option to change this when you use "save as" when downloading. You should be able to change the format from the drop down list.

For better help try asking here http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/board,285.0.html   :) :)
