  Hiya, Just to let you know... I'm the proud owner of a Headington Reg Vol 2..
purchased at the OFHS meet last Monday....

I feel I know every family in those 10 parishes.... 

Funny thing that there is little record of Norris in there at all. If they are misspelt, then only a look at the originals will help... 

I have the marriage bond entry, a possible account of their children...
where would I find an index for the marriage license. Hmmm.. did they have one.

 I had a look on OMI for your marriage for John Norris and Elizabeth Harper but there isn't one

1731 Norris, John Elsfield.   -   Harper, Elizth Garsington.

   Is this one of those where there is a bond but no license.....

There is a John Norris in Elsfield + Elizabeth who have a Henry Norris 2/12/1733.

This Henry 1733 is hopefully the Henry, who marries Jane Godfry in Forest Hill/Headington. 1755. I have the Bond and License for this marriage.
Which place they married in unclear as the paperwork says they can marry in either place...... Typical....
