My partners Grandfather a Peter Denzil Reynolds was born in India to a British family in 1918. His father was a Harry(Harold) Lewis Reynolds born in Nottinghamshire in 1866? he died about 1927 of gangreen after being bitten by his pet dog, i`ve looked on the censuses but cannot find him. His mother was a Winiford Stanley Potter and i think she was born about 1886 in India. I think Winiford was of mixed race a English father and a Indian Mother. I don`t know when Winiford`s father went to India but i do know he was a bridge builder. Harry married Winiford about 1901 he was 35 she was 15!!
Is there anyone who can help me as i think this one is going to be a tough nut to crack.
