Can anyone help with these Photos

I have two photos that I would like an opinon on are they the same gentleman?

The one on the right is Major William Norman Wells, but is the one on the left him when he was younger?

The one on the left he is in the Hussars Regiment the one on the right is unkown?

Can ayone help or advise?

The photo of the younger man on the left is not a Hussar (3rd).  The cap badge is actually that of the West Yorkshire Regiment.  The difference being the shape of the scroll.  :P

Hi again

In addition on looking at the collar badges once more, the photo of the young man shows the West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales Own) and the collar dogs are pre-1925.

The second photo (of the older man) is the same regiment, post-1925.  :D

Yes Candis

They do have very similar facial features even allowing for age differences, so imho they are most likely of the same man.

His medal card is on Ancestry, have you seen it?  ::)

Somehow somewhere I am related to him I just dont know how.

His photo was in a tin amongst other relatives, that are realted to me.

Just another one of those mysterys I have to solve.

Yes I have seen his medal card.

The photo on the right came from his grandaughter but neither one of us know how we are realted to each other.

Dont you just love those missing ties.
