 I have Harriet Jane Hamilton ,date of baptism Oct 27 1809,  & I dearly want to know any clues to her parentage on record .  I know she was married to John Bowman in Whitehaven ,14/6/1831.  Thank you .   Ron Hamilton, N.Z.

Hi Ev,   I am aware of that Harriet  which has caused some confusion between Bowmans & our family , & she left Cumbria for the North East at 6yrs of age , whereas our Harriet was resident in the whitehaven area until marriage & death at Lampugh in 1835,   it is possible I have the wrong baptism date ,  I have our Harriets father , I think , as Anthony (on a will) but no mother .
