Hello John. No Christon gravestones at Willington.
If you go to the first post on each thread ie post number 1 for Willington, you will see that I have listed all the surnames that are on the gravestones in that cemetery.

The only name that comes anywhere near that name is one for Tow law and that is Christison.

Hello Anny. I see that I have already posted some of the inscriptions on post number 79 for FOZ.
However here are a couple more to add to the Robson list.

In loving memory of Tamar, beloved wife of Edward Davison Robson of Willington, who died July/7/1918 aged 38 years.
Also John, beloved son of  Edward and Tamar Robson, who died July/12/1918 aged 18 days.

Sacred to the memory of George Robson (deputy) aged 50 years, who with nine others met his death at Page bank Colliery October/1/1858 when the mine shaft was on fire.

Hello Linda. Sorry :( No Nichol gravestones for Willington.
I put down Nichol but when I had a look I saw it was for the last one at Crook followed by Willington.
So it should only  be for Crook.
I do not think it would have helped you anyway because it was for a John James who died in 1847 and there were no parents names.

Thankyou, Adamand  for your prompt reply. The Nichol at Crook would not be any help  as the year is far to soon.

Thankyou for your help.

Regards Linda. :)

Hello Gillie. Only one gravestone for Paxton :-

In loving memory of Ernest, dearly beloved husband of Ellen Paxton, born January/1/1889
 died June/1/1944.

Many thanks for that.  Dont think he is one of my lot though.

If you have anyone looking for Paxton Marriages and Births I have created a web site here -

You are welcome to point them in that direction.

Again many thanks for your time and trouble
