The Hagg Village, Prudhoe Castle

Hi Lisa,
The Hogg seem to have had a connection with this house/village but I have never found a great deal of information. I think they moved there from Mickley.
Isabella Hogg was my g/grandmother. Her daughter Annie married a Matthew Thompson….are you related?

I don't believe there will a connection through my Thompson side as it was my maternal great grandma who was born here, Florence May Howdon (B: 1900), but strangely her Father George Howdon came from Mickley Square! Her mother Frances Cowing is down as West Wylam.

By 1911 they are living at West Road Prudhoe.

It may be my imagination, but I think that you can see traces of the outline of the Hagg Cottages on the satellite view.

Thanks Lisa, thought I would ask.
Isabell Hogg for reasons unknown left Mickley for Alnwick where she married Samuel Bell, it was their daughter who married a Matt Thompson. Both Bell/Thompson families were from Alnwick, so I agree there is no connection. Yet another FH coincidence!
