Hi Kim
Just registered on rootschat and found that you are also looking for the Cadwallader (+variations) and teh Williams family from Montgomeryshire.  I am also searching these families and would love to make contact.  From what I can see it's been some time since you lasted posted on here so I hope you are still using the site.  Would love to hear from you if poss.  Kind regards

Hi Andrea,

You're correct. I haven't been on here for ages, but it's been 3 years since your message. Are you still monitoring this forum. If so, let me know and we can try to exchange info!

Hi Kim

Yes I'm still here!  Very rarely go on Rootschat but got a message to say you'd been in touch.  Yes I'm still looking for any info on Cadwalladers (of many varied spellings to make it that little bit more challenging!) in the Llansantffraid area (again of varied spellings of course!)  Would love to hear back from you when you get the chance.

Best wishes

Andrea

Hi Andrea,
Sorry, another year has passed. There just never seems enough time to do everything!
Anyway my direct family link starts (as far back as I can go!) with
Thomas Cadwaladr b.1793 Llansantffraid (see previous items on rootschat!)
to Oliver Cadwaladr b.1835 Llansantffraid
to John Henry Cadwaladr b.1870 Llansantffraid (Moved to Northwich, Chester then West Derby, Lancs)
to Harry Cadwaladr b. 1895 Northwich, Chester (Moved to Cardiff, S.Wales)
to Robert James Cadwaladr b. 1955 Cardiff
to Robert Kim Cadwaladr (Me) b. 1959 Newport

Again if you look at the previous items in this thread you will see that Oliver had siblings:
Joseph b. 1827
Thomas b. 1833
Frances b. 1838
Ann b. 1841
John b. 1847

and John Henry had Siblings:
Thomas b. 1867 Llanfechain
Joseph Owen b. 1949 Llansantffraid
Ann b. 1872 Llansantffraid
William Jesse b.1879 Llansantffraid
plus
Mary Ellen and Frances Elined who both died very young!

Let me know if you have any links, especially if you know anything of Thomas' family!

Yours
Kim
