It's the only one anywhere that came up for a Joshua Evans & Elizabeth Evans on the same page in that timeframe.  Of course that does not necessarily mean that they married each other or that they are yours

Thanks again for that.....I assume it would be a different address to the one Gadget posted, the Swansea Register Office perhaps....could anyone confirm this.

Other than the quarter and year, the GRO reference (vol and page number)  for the marriage will not work if you are ordering from the Register Office by mail.   Genuki has the Swansea Register Office information as:

However, if you order from a local office, you'll need to either obtain the 'local' reference for the marriage or ask them to do a search.

Local references and GRO references have nothing in common except the year.

I have checked the local Welshpool births for the two Elizabeths's births but there are too many in the approx. years to get a definite hit.
