makes me crazy that there is no sign of Ichabod, in 1881 Mill Point, Hastings East where Lavenia was born,,, just (his brother)  Herbert ( of German descent ) who is also a pedlar

Not sure that is the same fellow, tho, Janice, as the only match is last name & occupation...plus would he use Ichaboid for marriage 1874, then Herbert for 1881, then Ichabod again for 1901?

Help, Karen...If the mother is Anna, Annie ( Hannah or Nancy)...
( don't bother with putting father as Ichabod, as spelling is atrocious)
what are the approximate birth dates for:
Herbert M Gardner, Annie Marjorie Gardner, William Clayton Gardner, Hastings....
plus perhaps an Edna &  Pearl ( purl?) Gardner,  in Victoria...

nevermind Marjorie & William, I forgot they were on the second page for the 1901...am hoping to find some births BEFORE 1881 so that we can find the right household.....
but perhaps Janice would like to have those births, anyway...
