Baptism
« on: Sunday 29 June 08 16:35 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Would be grateful if anyone has access to the baptism registers for Portsea.
Trying to find Alice Susannah Wallis born 1880 between January and March.
Hoping to get her parents names.
Thank you

Hi Hollow,

Not what you were asking for but I can see a very likely candidate on the 1881 census:
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=uki1881&indiv=try&h=6636385
RG11/1159 50 33

(There doesn't seem to be a birth for a Susannah other than Alice Susannah)

Thank you Tati,

I had seen the 1881 census but I was thrown with the name of Susannah
instead of Alice Susannah. It could possible be her and perhaps she was
known as Susannah. If this is her, I can then follow the parents lead.
I am trying to save money. The only way to check if it is her is to send for
the birth certificate.

Thank you for your reply.
