Hi Tiff,
I've got the MIs for Dunkeld Cathedral, Little Dunkeld and Birnam, Dunkeld. Are you looking for anyone specific in these areas?
I also have the pre 1855 gravestone index for east perthshire (Strathmore & Carse of Gowrie)
Jean
Hi Jean,
Would be extremely interested if you could look in MIs for Dunkeld Cathedral, Little Dunkeld & Birnam for MacLauchlans (they have been spelt various ways but not with a "g" or lin).
The furtherest I have been able to go back is my g.g.grandfather
John McLauchlan b: 1801 Dunkeld who came to NZ in 1855.
Who I would dearly love to find are his parents & siblings.
I know it is a long shot but hope to be back there again 2010 (last time) & would really love to find them. There may have been a brother Robert. John's son's names were John, William & James & daughters Ann & Majory (after wife).
Your lookup would be wonderful Jean,
Many thanks,
Tiff
