Restoration of badly damaged photograph
« on: Thursday 26 June 08 12:57 BST (UK) »
The original of this old and very badly damaged photograph is mounted on board
19 inches high by 15 inches wide.  As can be seen, the board has broken in two and the picture is now in a very sad state indeed.

Nevertheless, this picture of her grandfather, is a treasured possession of an elderly lady who has asked me whether it could be ‘restored’ and reduced in size, so that I could then print it for her on an A4 photographic sheet.

I have seen some of the wonderful photographic restorations produced by several members of RootsChat and would greatly welcome your help.

If you contact me by e-mail through the RootsChat mail system, I will then send an e-mail with a better quality photograph of the damaged picture in an attachment.

I know that the lady concerned will deeply appreciate your kindness in helping her.

Thank you.
No particular names.  Just offering assistance, when I feel that I may be able to help.

Especially interested in enquiries concerning locations of Places and old Properties - farms etc., in England, Wales and Scotland.
