Ephriam ROBSON - Northumberland

I am seeking further Information on Ephriam Robson and his family. I believe he was born about 1785, Morpeth, Northumberland.

I looked in the 1841 Census and can't find him, so he was probably deceased by then, if that helps at all.

If you are descended from one of his children, could you please give details of that child and we can check the census entries in case Ephraim has been mis-transcribed

Hi John,

There is a Family Tree on Ancestry with following details;

Ephraim Robson, born 13/11/1785 Morpeth, died 26/8/1824 Leith,Midlothian,Scotland.
Parents -John Robson and Mary Thompson

Spouse- Mary Ann Ingram

Their son John Robson, born 1822 died 1891 Cundletown.N.S.W. Australia

Have to go to bed now, can send message to tree holder in morning ( 2.00 a.m. in Sydney now) or maybe someone in England can do it for you now.
I also have a Robson from Morpeth in my tree, there seem to be a lot of them some born Scotland.

In a pm - John wrote as follows:

I am a descendant. Ephraim had 3 children Mary b 1818, Elizabeth b 1820 and John (my GGGrandfather) b 1822 all at North Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.
Ephraim married Mary Ingram 1816, Nth Leith they were both born in England. Mary was b 1787 Sth Sheilds ( I think).
There was that many Robsons around the Northumberland and Durham areas it makes it hard to know who is who
