Mary Ann Hayes from Chinnor
« on: Sunday 22 June 08 11:32 BST (UK) »
Hi All,

I am seeking info on Mary Ann Hayes. She was born 1816, Chinnor, Oxfordshire to William and Ann Hayes (nee Saw)
Sometime during the late 1840s Mary was in Wycombe Union Workhouse with her father, William Hayes/Hays, he died there in 1849. Mary continued to live there and had two illegitimate children, Jemima born abt 1850 and Kezia born 1856, Saunderton,Buck... I have a lot of Info on Kezia.
The Info I require is when and where Mary Ann Hayes died and any Info on Jemima.

Regards,
John.

Couldn't find either Jemima or Kezia in the Chinnor baptisms but you might find this baptism interesting -

baptised Mar 22 1848 (born 21 Jul 1846) Henry Hayes/Hopkins s/o Henry, chairmaker & Mary Ann, lacemaker
