Thanks Irret
Yes I had seen that, but what I had thought it could have been an illigitimate birth there being no father's name mentioned,I shall have to at the parish records when I can get to the archive dept.

Hi teadealer,
Mirose Capewell went on to marry John Greaves in 1857. In 1861, they were resident at the Bulls Head, Newcastle, staffs, where John was the publican. As you may know already, they had 2 children, Frederick (b1860) and Mary Elizabeth (b1861). Mirose was widowed & with her 1st daughter - your ancestor - in Newcastle in 1901. She died in 1910 and was buried in Fradswell churchyard. Her grave inscription reads:
In loving memory of MIROSE widow of late John Greaves of Newcastle-under-Lyme and youngest daughter of James and Elizabeth Capewell of Doglands Farm who died April 11th 1910 age 86 years.
Rest in Peace
Mirose/Mira/Myra became a popular name amongst the Capewells, though I think your great-grandmother was the first. To save you the trip, I've seen the parish record - and, yes, Elizabeth Clementina was illegitimate.
Hope this helps!
