I wondered if there was a church near the Harton colliery or just a
hall used for wedding etc.
Thomas died at Gibson House Bolden Colliery 1975 is this near the Harton colliery.

Hi

I knew Thomas Harding Fisher as he was my step-grandfather. Wilhelmina Silmeen was my grandmother. After her death he married someone called May.
I recall my Aunt Jenny talking about Ann Fisher who was about the same age as her. They grew up together in South Shields but did not live together.
I probably have a photo of Thomas ( Tommy) somewhere.
It was interesting to read your post.

Sue Richmond

Hi Sue
Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, I have been looking into my husband's family for so long and getting nowhere, I was shocked to see a reply at last.   It's great to finally hear from someone who knew of the family.
My husband knows nothing at all about his mother's family so anything you can tell us would be great.
Don't want to open up any old wounds for anyone but it is such a mystery as to why Ann never told anyone about her other family.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Carol

The person in the fore ground is my father .
