Hi Rod....any more info to try narrow down?

Cannot find a Will, with father Frank in Wales 1881.  There are many Frank Jones, and also William Jones, but cannot put them together.  He could be Francis...but no son William b 1877 +/- 2yrs

Cannot find a marriage of Frank Jones in time scale pre 1877

The 1881 is free to search....http://content.ancestry.co.uk/iexec/?htx=List&dbid=8059&offerid=0%3a7858%3a0

Thank you Cas
I am working from a family bible and family memories
William was a miner and died in Kent after WW11
Married 1903 Pontypridd Ellen ? SAUNDERS or SANDERS
He was born Dec 1877 (written in the bible but does not say where)
His father was Frank and was rumored to be a Baptist minister
Mountain Ash and Llanlley were other towns mentioned in the stories

Again thank you for your assistance
Rod

There is this family in 1901, that could well be the future wife of Will, checked incase there was a Will Jones nearby to fit...posted as I had info there.  Not confirmed, marriage will give you info of her father, if needed

Hello Rod
My name is stuart Howell and I am also working on the same family tree. William Jones and Eleanor Saunders are the Great Grandparents of my wife Beverley Boyes. I have a fair ammount of info re. the family but am also struggling with regard to the elusive baptist minister Frank/Francis. William's and Elleanor's marriage certificate states that William's father is a Baptist minister and his name is given as Frank although William's first son is William Francis Jones which may indicate that the name could be Francis as a family tradition.
Depending on when you receive this post please get in contact. My email address is * and we can see if there is any info that we can share.
All the best
Stuart
