dont understand this, most people seem young in the pics, i thought family history was an older persons hobby (im in between age wise, but im one of the 'youngsters' at my local family history meetings, good for the ego) but think i'll keep a low profile on rootsweb, cant keep up with the competition!

The busiest person (and the most successful  >:() at the local FHS is just turned 20.  He started on his family tree on a dare at 17, because he didn't know who his father was.  He has found a huge family on his father's side, and on at least 5 lines is back to the mid-1500s.  All documented!

And he holds a full-time job, as well as participating in a medieval re-creation group.

I used to have that kind of energy . . . how long ago?!?!?!
