Fair enough Mobo.  Here's a piccie from the West Hampstead Herring Appreciation Society's annual trip to the Helsinki Herringfest 2002.  Oh, it seems such an age ago, but the memory of the smell is still so vivid.   :-[  And that was just at Standstead before we'd left the UK!

Incidentally, I am not the one in the red beret, but I'd rather not say which one of the others I am (although I'm happy to take bets!)  Any guesses?  Answers on an e-mail to 'Spot The Genealogist Competition, c/o The Lighter Side'.
