Looking for relatives of Walter Heywood CHAPMAN please.

Parents were Heywood and Jane Wilson (nee Sanderson) who migrated to New Zealand in the late 1870's/1880's with their two daughters, Edith Maude and Ida.

Walter was born 1868 in Liverpool. In 1891 he was 1st Mate on board "Belle of Arrow" at Cornwall.
He married Ellen Jane DAVIDSON in 1892 at Birkenhead - Jane was born c1868 in Woolton.

Walter & Ellen had three children: Walter Heywood Chapman (born 1904 in Ormskirk), Mary Catharine Chapman (born c1894 in Liverpool) and Edith I.(or J.) Chapman (born c1896 in Liverpool). The family lived in 1901 at 462 Hawthorne Rd, Bootle Cum Linacre. Walter was 3rd Mate.

Does this ring a bell with anyone???

Hi, Unbelievable this, just found this site yesterday, but at end of November 2013 sent off to GRO to what I thought was my Grandad Samuel Chapman's Sister Edith Chapman's Birth Certificate their parent William Henry Chapman of Violet Rd Litherland. Sadly what they sent me was not a match. But instead was Birth Cert for Edith Ida Chapman born 1st April 1895 at 26 Garfield Street, Bootle Father Walter Heywood Chapman Occupation Mariner Merchant Service Birth Registered by Father on 11th May 1895 in Walton /West Derby Mother Ellen Jane Chapman formerly Davidson  GRO ref = 1895 June Quarter Vol 8B Page 468 West Derby Registration   My Dad's Dad Samuel married 1910 and lived in Willard Road off Hawthorne Road where he worked for Trinidad Lake Asphalt Ltd My Mum's parents married in 1910 also and lived in Garfield Street which I couldn't find for years till I discovered its under the New Strand Shopping Centre as it was off Strand Road then. How weird is all that ? I now have a Birth Cert for Edith Ida I don't want. Do you want it ? If so, I could either scan & email or post it Royal Mail free to you.

Hi Alamo2008
Sorry, I have been offline for some time now and have only just seen your post.
Yes yes, I would love to have that Certificate as part of my extended family history.
If you could post the original to me that would be terrific. Details:

Many many thanks for your help and good luck with your continued search.
Regards
Diana

Hi Diana,

I have removed your home address and sent the details to Alamo using the private message function (PM), this is the safest way to post private contact details.

Regards

Sarah :)
