Thankyou Silvery,

I have Mary Ellen, but it is Joseph that I am trying to get back on. Although understandably Williams is a difficult surname!

I can't find a Joseph Williams, father Edward.

Nearest I can do,  1881 RG11/5492/78/22

White House, Forden       -    all born Berriew, which is about 7 miles from Forden, and about 5 miles from Welshpool. Forden to Welshpool is about 5 miles.  They all sit in a triangle.

Edward Williams 48, ag lab
Mary 50
Annie 21
Elizabeth 19
Martha 13
Edward 11
Fanny 6

If born in Welshpool/Forden  the registration district looks as though it would be Montgomery.  There is an Edward Williams born June 1870 Montgomery 11b 240.

There are no records Montgomery for a Joseph Williams.   It's going to be a bit tricky, I think.  Forden records were started Sept 1870, prior to that it's Montgomery.   Searching years used, 1870 to 1872.

Hi,

I'm Jan Eagles (nee janet williams) youngest daughter of Fred (Alfred) Williams, who was the youngest son of Joseph and Polly (Mary Ellen) Williams. I think Rachel must be a great neice to my late dad. I have one photo of my grandparents together taken during the Second World War standing outside their home Ark Villa Arddleen.

White house, Forden.

More than 6 sisters there, but still, all girls.
