I have e-mailed Kate Driver in Australia to see if she knows of an uncle.
On the assumption she does not, because I think she would have told me otherwise, how do you suggest she contacts her uncle who must be approaching the age of 80?

Yes, Nicholas' brother is 80 ish but of course I cannot let you have his e-mail address because of my concerns about his confidentiality.
He has done family history research himself for many years so I think he may well have contacted his Australian relatives at some point. He's a very intelligent man.

I just saw the messages about Nicholas when I decided to log into RootsChat and do a surname check.

My mother knew the family well.  She may be able to respond to any unanswered questions or provide information to Nick's children.  Please advise.

I have spoken to my mother, and she would be very pleased to communicate with Kate, BGB, celiabk, etc. re: Nicholas Driver.  She knew him very well before he emigrated to Australia, and has photographs, etc., of him and his family.  My mother is now 79 and emigrated to Canada in the 50's.  Looking forward to hearing from you.

When I was in the Royal Air Force with Nick Driver there was a school teacher friend of both of us who went off to Canada from England. Annette Lewis was her name.
It also happens I remain in touch with several RAF friends from those days and would therefore be glad to hear from your mother.
