Spouse: Jane Carter 22 Jul 1764 Catterick. Married c1789 Catterick (Prob dau of John Carter and Margaret Pickering – see below)
Children: Margaret c1790; Mary c1792; Jane c1793; James c1795; Thomas c1798; Elizabeth c1799; all baptised Catterick.
James Bradley c1795 as above Richmond, Yorkshire. Died prob 1862 Halifax, Yorks.
Spouse: Margaret c1793. D. 18 Mar 1839, Tanshelf, Yorks. The family, or most of them, moved to Halifax, Yorks, between 1837 and 1839.
Children: Mary Ann 1820 Pontefract. Married Joseph Sykes in Halifax in 1840.

James remarried to Mary Thornton of Halifax, Yorks 1842. Children: Emma c1847 Huddersfield; George c1849 Brighouse; Fanny c1850 Brighouse.
Jane Carter, wife of James Bradley as above. Siblings: Margaret c1762; John c1764; Ann c1768; William c1770; all bapt Catterick, Yorks.
Jane’s mother appears to have been Margaret Pickering c1735, daughter of John Pickering b. c1710 and possibly Ann Pearson c1712. Margaret may have had a sister named Mary Pickering, born c 1755 at Great Smeaton, Richmondshire.
