Diddy and jac2,
Thank you for the David Tod's. Don't think they are mine, but will hang onto them in case they are related somehow. thanks also for the Margaret's.

Diddy....that would be of great help...will send PM.

I've been told my Tod's came from Wester Gospetrie on the banks of Loch Leven, but so far have only traced them to Kettle.

Can anyone tell me what Mildeans, Balmalcolm and Burnturk are? They were written after Kettle. Are they ares in Kettle?
David and Margaret Tod's children were born in Bankton, Kettle. Assume this is another area in Kettle?

Hi Jacci and Diddy too,

A couple of days ago, Jacci, you kindly found the deaths of some of my Morrisons in Falkland. I am now wondering if you would be kind enough to see if you can find two of the female lines for me? I am going to Dundee in a couple of weeks, big 60th birthday present, so that I can look around the villages where my ancestors lived and take loads of photographs and also see if I can get a line on some of the nonconformist births in Leslie.

It would be great if you, and anybody else with knows the area, could also give me a few pointers on where else to visit when I am there (I'm going for a week) - including a nice restaurant for my birthday dinner! I'm really excited about this and so looking forward to it.

Anyway, the families I am looking for are the Wrights (Wreights) and the Patricks (Pathericks, Pedries).

Information I have is:

James Patherick and Isabel Williamson married in Monimail 29 March 1735 (so a guess at their birth dates would be 1710-1715). All their children born in Monimail, last one in 1754.

William Patherick (b 21 April 1745 in Monimail) and Mary McNaughton married 3 November 1768 in Monimail.
All their children born in Monimail, last one 1775.

David Pedrie (b. 26 Nov 1769 in Monimail) and Isabel Young. Married 12 January 1790. Only child I know of, Janet Patrick, born 12 Dec 1790 in Monimail.

The Wrights/Wreights are from Auchterderran and I would appreciate a look for George Wreight and Margaret Clark married 14 July 1726 in Auchterderran (so a guess at a birth date for them would be about 1700-06). Last child born in 1737.

Also David Wright (b 1732) and Margaret Horn married Auchterderran 2 Nov 1750. Only child I know of born in 1755.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Ruby

Hi Diddy

I really appreciate you taking the time to look for these people. It would be good to have the Patrick Cupar deaths and I'll send my email to you. Could I also please have the George Wrights and Margaret Horns?

William Patrick b 10 July 1771 sounds like the one who died in 1808 and is probably the son of William born 1745. I haven't got an Alexander but I haven't got all the children of these couples yet.

Once again, many thanks for your kindness is helping me track down my Fife family.

Regards

Ruby
