Could you please look up Christian Fleming née Hoy for me? She died between 1841 and 1851. She was born c.1790, and her husband was Alexander Fleming. She probably died in Thornton, if not, then possibly Falkland.

Also Helen Grieve née Fraser, died again between 1841 and 1851. Born c.1761 and married James Grieve. Probably died in Newton of Falkland. If you could find James Grieve that'd be great, but I have literally no information on him.

James Osler (or Ostler or Hostler), and his wife Janet Louden. James was born 1762 in Carnbee, and Janet was born c.1770.

If you can find any deaths of an Elspeth Coldstream in Fife between 1786 and 1855 that would be legendary.

Could you possibly find a James Grieve having died in Falkland, before 1849? After 1797.

ostler, no sign of James on CD or MI's even with alternative spellings on Grieve.
Sorry,

hold that thought - that was in Falkland - there are 19 James grieves elsewhere. do you have any other names to connect him too - or other places in area?

Newton of Falkland, Strathmiglo and Auchtermuchty are really the only places nearby. The name Richardson might have some significance, but I'm not sure. If you can find a Richardson Grieve or a Richardson Clark, that might solve some other mystery of mine.
