Ruby - sounds brilliant. I'd love to visit Fife and clackmannan (generations of Cooks!) but its a fair few miles from the Midlands.

Still I have a stopping off point in Northumberland with an Aunt so maybe one of these days.....

Diddy (green with envy)
Cooks -(Clackmannanshire); Erskines - (fife); Youngs - (Dunfermline); Charltons - (Tyneside ); Skillings - (N.Norfolk); Legg - (N.Yorks, Tyneside) ; Carter - (Durham); Miller -(suffolk); Pattinson -(Lincs)

hi ruby  :)
Glad you enjoyed the fair county of fife. Your right falkland is a beautiful village. Did you get a chance to go into falkland palace? we often take a drive there on a good day.
jacci. :)

Hi Jacci

I am descended from James Donaldson and Janet Dewar's son William then through William's son James.  You must be descended through William's son David who married Euphemia Bogie?  Wow, I am thrilled !  This is the first time i have found anyone else online who is actually researching the same Donaldson family.  My Mom has been researching the Donaldson's for many many years and has accumulated quite a bit of information.  Would you be interested in sharing info?

Also, thank you for the burial information of the John Ramsay's.  If you have time would there be a burial of a Magdalen or Marjory Ramsay in Collessie?

Thanks,
Sarah
