Hello, I have just been scrolling thrugh the past letters as it is a while since I have been on this site and saw your letter re Alderman Cape and I wondered if you are aware that the secondary school at Crook, Co Durham  was named the Alderman Cape Secondary School presumably after your ancestor. Do you have anything for the surnames Blake, French or Minto please.

There are no Minto  or Blakes at Stanley or even in the Dale, although the French name is at Crook and Tow Law.
