Just been going through my tree, and what do you know..... Andrew is sitting there.  I can now add to that branch.

Andrew will probably be curious how I already have him, but a long story and will explain in a email/pm to him. ;D

I know that this is *completed* but wanted to say "hi!"

I am a descendant of Alexander McNeil and Janet McDougall, through Alexander and Isabella Dallas.  You come down to me 6 generations later in Australia.  My Great-grandmother was a McNeil in New Zealand.

Nice to say hi.

Hi, Been a while since last chat and am all fired up to find out more re our early roots in Scotland. Are you still around??? Have you been able to shed more light on pre James McNeil ancestry. I notice in Ancestry.com his name is spelt Mcneal. Maybe an Irish connection?
