Just rechecked there are at least 4/5 people who have this family in their trees. on Genes..how do we know which would benefit most  Think it only fair all should know :-\

Perhaps mail them all and let it go on direct line?  Up to maryma...

Oh, I love when these things come up. I think I agree with Cas, they all should know, and maybe the first responder could get it, or some such. What a find this is going to be for some lucky genealogist.

Also on A****y world tree there are 21 entries for same family of Henry & Edna

Out of these.... 5 for Caroline with husband named.  5 for Charlotte with husband named, so it should find a home as there are plenty of takers....one of them as same name as who submitted the pedigree file

Wonder what marysma will do?

Marysma -

What luck that it was your husband who was doing the house clearance. I bet there's lots of things like that, which builders etc find and just chuck into a skip.

Lovely to know yours, and your husband's, desire to find the family.
Only recently there was thread on rootschat of a lady trying to trace her grandmother's bible and prayer book, which had unfortunately been left in a cupboard when they moved house, from Peterborough.
Tried to locate them, but without success -  thirty years too late :(
(But, you never know .....)
So, this is lovely to see someone tring to re-unite the belongings with their rightful owner/s.
Paulene :)

Evening all,

What  a clever lot of people on this site!

I did not think of looking on G***s and A******y.duh!

"What will Marysma do"--well I don't know what to do for the best.
Which person do I send a message to,if I mail them all,how would I divide the stuff up?. What a dilema.

It would make me very happy to see these wonderful treasures go to the right person,so I will await your advice on what to do.

Thanks all.

Look at the people's trees and see who has the most information (with sources). Then they get the stuff.

Or see who joins Rootschat first.  ;D ;D

I don't know. It's a tough one. Wish I had so many people researching my family.
