Hi, Dick, has Jamie put you in touch with Jack yet?  He's an incredible gentleman
and Frances Lang was his school teacher!  He left Bruse Hall in 1939. I'm so
excited hearing from him and I don't even know if Frances belongs to my Langs.

This post was started quite a few years ago but I stumbled on it today looking for Langs of Drumkeerwick. Briefly-
John James Lang, RIC Constable then farmer, married (1904 in Belfast) Lizzie Millar/Miller from Coleraine in County Londonderry. Three children:
1. Arnold David John Land (1906).
2. Eveleen Annie Janneta Lang (1908) m.(1924) George Ecclestone, Killeshandra.
3. Stanley George Lang (1910-1984)- family.

My interest is actually in the Millar family. Lizzie's parents were David Millar, a shoemaker in Coleraine, and Ann Taggart. Two other children- Martha (d.young?) and David (1870).
David Millar (1870) supposed to have married Sarah Archibald and had a number of children of which only 2 survived. I am as yet unable to find the marriage. Sarah died in 1908, David left the two children with the Archibald family, and was last hear of in Court in 1911 for failing to support his children.
Here's a link to earlier thread of mine-

(I don't need any information on the Millars except for that missing marriage).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
